The work I had done was 2 bathrooms, new kitchen, new flooring throughout, paint and upgraded electrical which took 3 weeks. Yup! I said 3 WEEKS!! I wanted a new home and I made it absolutely clear when I met with Dave. This was more than a renovation. I wanted a transformation.

When i met Dave, we walked through my condo and we itemized exactly what I wanted to have done. We put together a detailed contract carefully outlining each specific job that needed to be done and the cost associated with a payment schedule.

A quick back story: May 2019 I purchased my first home from my grandmother, a 1964 two storey semi-detached in North York. I had spent most of my life in the home and it had much sentimental value to me. However, the home needed work and I had a specific vision. My standards were high!

The first time I met Daryoush, I had a good feeling based on the integrity of the man. As we continued to have meetings, he seemed knowledgeable and experienced. As it turned out, my intuition was correct!

Work began and I met the rest of the team, a group of dedicated handymen who took pride in their craft, and were always courteous. Daryoush made life easy for me, he had great taste and guided/advised me when I was unsure about a design. The entire experience was seamless and painless, Daryoush provided me samples of tile, flooring, trim, countertops, paint colours, etc from modern homes.

In addition to all that, he has dedicated tradesmen, flooring installers, windows and doors installers, cabinet makers, etc. Their loyalty to him is truly a testament of his good nature and reliability.

After having a terrible experience with the contractor, who would not work more then 3 hours a day and didn’t fulfill any a ligations listed in the contract, I was very lucky to replace him with Daryoush (Dave) from IRemodel to renovate my bathroom by replacing bathtub to standshwer and tiling all walls and replacing sink and toilet bowl. He and his team were coming at 8:30 am sharp and were doing their best to finish the job as soon as possible. They have done everything I asked them the way I wanted and it felt like to please the costumer was the most important for them, beside their professionalism it was a pleasure to have them around for about a week time, because they happened to be a very nice and plasent human beings, I would recommende them for any renovation job.

He was very helpful with planning and recommending options and solutions for the various constraints we faced. He was flexible about discussing and deciding details, knew when _not_ to do something, and was always interested in our satisfaction. His cabinetmaker was thoughtful and accurate. moving a wall to create a walk-in closet and moving a wall to increase the size of a TV room with all rooms being connected. This also involved ripping down the ceilings, installing new flooring and tile, building a new standup shower in place of the clawfoot bathtub that had been there previously (and leaking through to my kitchen ceiling!) This was not an easy project because it was in a house that was built in the late 1800s so as is always the case, the house had many internal flaws that had to be corrected to make possible what I was asking iRemodel to do.

As a contractor myself, it is always hard to hire another contractor to do the work because you understand how everything works and it’s hard to trust that someone other than yourself knows as much as you do or more. Suffice it to say, I found the contractor that knows more than I do and was confident from day one that he was the right person and company for the project and he did not disappoint!
